Our District has always played a major role in the Western Cape, on the field and with strong representation in coaching, management, umpires and administration.
Cape Winelands Netball Federation strives for all our members to achieve their best. It is with this in mind that we are offering fantastic opportunities to reach their full potential.
ADMINISTRATION

The success of Netball in the Cape Winelands district depends on how we as coaches, umpires and technical personell can obtain and utilize our knowledge.
​
We value the management of teams and like to invest quality time into growing your skills and assisting in any way we can. That’s why we provide quality courses to give all aspirant coaches, umpires and technical personell a chance to broaden your netball knowledge.

C W NETBALL ACADEMY
The Cape Winelands Netball Academy are designed to ensure optimum results. Our sessions give the athletes education on how to train with regards to fitness, skills work and goal setting. We also address other aspects necessary to become an elite athlete. Being talented is not enough, and only players with the right attitude to training and playing will make it to the top.
Training opportunities for coaches and umpires. Mentoring and training of coaches. We value our coaches and like to invest quality time into growing their skills and assisting them in any way we can. That’s why we will provide more coaching assistance thru the academy. Summer and pre-season training, we will also launch new online training opportunities for members.
Pending on availability we also offer custom made training sessions at your school or club.

TOURNAMENTS AND CLINICS

We start our season with our annual Opening Tournament.
​
Starting this year we had a very successfull Summer Sizzle Starlight Tournament. This tournament is a fun event for all teams interested to participate. We have ladies, schools, men and social. During November we will again host a off-season tournament for all interested to participate.
​
The Paarl Elite Netball is a holiday clinic during the Easter holiday for primary schools and high schools to prepare for the season. This clinic celebrated 25 years of excellence this year.
​
POP-UP Netball iniciated by the coach of the Southern Stings will also become a regular fixture. Showcasing our talented players.
